Brooke Takac became a certified Rolfer
upon graduating from the European Rolfing Association in 2009. Her interest in movement as both a way to heal and express oneself has been a lifelong passion. She earned her B.A. in Speech Language and Hearing Sciences from the University of Colorado-Boulder and spent nearly two years working in the speech and language field. After requiring knee surgery for a torn meniscus, Brooke became increasingly devoted to exploring the idea that balance and freedom of movement are integral to a healthy life both physically and emotionally, and she subsequently enrolled at the Rolf Institute in Boulder, Colorado. As a Rolfer
, Brooke is highly intuitive and remains a proponent of the idea that full expression of the body is rooted in balance and proper structural alignment. A committed environmental steward, Brooke is excited to join the Madison community and hopes to serve its citizens searching for balance in all spheres of their lives. Brooke enjoys spending her free time biking, practicing yoga, dancing joyfully and planning her next travels.
